The library staff aims to satisfy the information needs of the library users. However, if there are no available resources despite exhaustive research made by the library staff, library users are referred outside the library. A referral letter can be provided by the library to accommodate information needs from other libraries.


  1. Only students who are officially enrolled are entitled to avail this service.
  2. Administrators, Faculty and Staff of the institution can also avail the said service.
  3. Before requesting a referral form, visit their library website and online public access catalog (OPAC) to check the availability and status of the resources.

  5. The request for referral form must be submitted three (3) working days before the date of visit for the librarian to facilitate and coordinate with the requested library institution.
  6. A maximum of five (5) researchers will be allowed to visit per day, or depending on the guidelines of the library that the researchers will visit.
  7. Request form should be claimed by one of the members of the group.
  8. During the visit, make sure that every researcher should present a valid together with the referral letter issued by the Fr. Ed Lumboy Memorial Resource Center.
  9. All library researchers should follow the library guidelines and policies implemented within the library premises of the chosen library.
